Urinary infection or urinary tract infection (UTI) is the infection of urinary system, which includes kidneys, ureter and bladder.it is caused by bacteria in the urinary tract.there are several bacteria around us and can harm our body if our immunity is low.the bacteria may enter the blood stream and can infect the kidneys or the urinary tract.it can leads to lot of pain and discomfort, especially passing the  urine.it  s more common in women than in men.women are more prone to this because of shorter urinary tract. It s is not a serious disease if diagnose it at time but if not then u may get serious  complications.it  can affect to kidneys too.

What are the symptoms of a Urinary Tract Infection? 

A frequent urge to urinate

Trickling of urine despite a strong

A painful burning sensation in the area of the bladder or urethra

An uncomfortable pressure above the pubic bone

Cloudy, milky or reddish urine

If these symptoms are accompanied by a fever, your kidneys may be infected. When the infection spreads farther to the kidneys you will experience some other symptoms like nausea , vomiting, chills, fever, and a constant pain and pressure on both sode of kidneys.

Avoiding UTI & Bladder Infection
Avoiding UTI is relatively simple. Follow a few reasonable precautions and you can easily avoid them.

Drink 48 - 60 ounces of water daily to keep the urinary system flowing.

Take vitamin C supplements (the ascorbic acid form) as it can help to acidify the urine.

Proper hygiene is essential. Women should always wipe from front to back and clean the genital and rectal areas before and after intercourse

Don't "hold" your urine. Resisting the urge to urinate can damage the delicate tissue of the urinary tract over time.

Take showers, not baths. Bathwater contains millions of bacteria from our own bodies.

avoid spicy oily food smoking and alcohol too.

Although antibiotics may be recommended as probable bladder infection remedies, they may prove to be too harsh and can cause many side effects. As a result, the herbal remedies for bladder infections may be prescribed in place of strong medications. These herbal remedies help in controlling the infection. Cranberry juice is believed to cure any sort of bladder infection. The bacterium which gets accumulated in the urinary tract is cleared with the help of the cranberry juice. You can have a glass of cranberry juice in the morning. In addition to these there are other herbs like marshmallow root, goldenseal and corn silk that act as potential medicines to treat bladder infections.

Home remedies for Urinary Tract Infection:

you should drink plenty of fluids. Increase your water consumption and drink plenty of fruit juices all throughout the day. This will also give good flow of urine and thus remove all the toxins from within the body.

in early stage having water mix with baking soda is very effective.. This will also add to the acid-base levels in your urine and thus reduce the further growth of the bacteria.

Drinking the mixture of cranberry juice and apple juice is also one of the very effective home remedies for urinary tract infection.

The juice of grapes is also useful in the treatment of urinary tract infection. This juice is highly effective in reducing the burning sensations while urinating caused due to urinary tract infection.

Increase your intake of vitamin C, as this will increase your immunity levels and thus prevent further growth of bacteria. Milk, fruits and vegetables all are good for giving cure in urinary tract infection and hence increase consuming them

You will need to control your diet by avoiding cheese, chocolates, dairy products, coffee, alcohol, smoking and spicy food.
